Ain't No Cure For The Summertime Blues

As an educator, I know I shouldn't use the word "ain't" or a double negative, but I couldn 't not express my own discontent, which is surely yours as well, that school is out. How depressing that the school year is but a memory. For all its horrors and headaches, friendships and triumphs, I'm sure you're glad the school year is over. But ironically, those same reasons you hate school are also the reasons you miss it. So now, as school rests forebodingly on the horizon, only a month or so away, there is an equal amount of dread and anticipation.

But, you try to forget about that school stuff. You relax and enjoy vacation. You remind yourself you still have a lot left. And you do.
